Experience & History

Compani Color is headed by painter Joe Compani. Joe has 18 years of experience in body and paint work. Between 2005 and 2013 he honed his painting skills and attention to detail in his body work as the in-house painter at Roy Brizio Street Rods. Some notable complete paint refinishing projects by Joe during that time include Roy Brizio's personal 1955 Chevy, Eric Clapton's 1947 Chevy Woody, Reggie Jackson's 1941 Willy's, Jeff Wechsler's original body 1932 Ford Roadster, and Jimmy Pflueger's 1934 Australian Ford Phaeton.

In 2013 Joe took Compani Color full time. The business expanded to a larger shop space in 2015 and installed a high quality, heated spray booth in 2016. The shop is located next door to South City Rod and Custom and Compani Color has provided the paint work on many of Bill Ganahl's full builds.

Joe is joined by Ryan Campi, also a former employee of Roy Brizio Street Rods. He has worked with Compani Color since it's humble beginnings as a side business. His loyalty is unparalleled and he puts forth a tremendous amount of skill and effort into every project.
